Dr. Rashid Mustafa Khan is actively working in the field of Intellectual Property, particularly patent-related aspects. He started his career with Ranbaxy in the year 2002 and became part of Sun  Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd., after acquisition of Ranbaxy in 2015. He left Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. as General Manager in October 2018, where he was mainly involved in patent litigation. He has rich experience in preparing clear IP paths for product development and supported through non-infringement and invalidation strategies. He has experience in patent drafting, filing and prosecution in multiple territories like the USA and Europe.  Further, during his tenure, he has worked with  various law firms of the USA and Europe and provided technical support to litigations.

He has Doctorate in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Masters  in Pharmaceutical Chemistry.
